Infertility

We specialise in the use of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM, including acupuncture and herbal medicine) to treat a wide range of disorders associated with infertility/subfertility including: poor ovarian reserve, poor egg quality, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), luteal phase defect, recurrent miscarriage, thin endometrium, endometriosis, irregular periods, amenorrhea, oligomenorrhea, hyperprolactinemia, unexplained (idiopathic) infertility, immunological disorders, some tubal diseases, etc. The treatment can be used in conjunction with assisted fertility treatment. The goal of the treatment is:-

  • To enhance your chances of natural conceiving.
  • To increase your chances of conceiving through assisted fertility treatment, including in vitro fertilization (IVF), intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), intrauterine insemination (IUI), assisted hatching (AH), gamete intrafallopian transfer (GIFT), zygote intrafallopian transfer (ZIFT), frozen embryo transfer (FET), egg or embryo donation, etc. TCM is used in conjunction with the above treatments.
  • To reduce the chances of miscarriage.
