Psychotherapy is a practice that enables a person to see through the reasons underlying the conflicts and dissatisfactions of his or her life and relationships. These conflicts may appear in many forms: anxiety and panic, depression, eating disorders, lack of energy, constant difficulties in relationships or at work. It can be short or long term, focused or free ranging but it's centred on coming to understand oneself and ones actions in relation to others.
I have extensive experience of issues such as, relationship problems, low self-esteem and confidence, depression, anger and emotional crises. I like to create a safe and confidential place to explore and build awareness of feelings, thoughts and behaviours. I work creatively, so as well as talking and listening, I may also work with art, music, creative writing, role-play, dreams and visualisation to enable growth and change.
